Newtown Township Hires Assistant Manager

Newtown Township has hired a new assistant manager.

Micah Lewis, who is currently employed by the engineering firm Boucher & James, is the consultant planner for Newtown Township. He has been selected for the assistant manager position, which was recently created by the township.

Lewis will start on Feb. 26. His annual salary will be $80,000 to start, the Bucks County Courier Times reported.

“His focus will be primarily on development and technology, but he is also a landscape architect who has had dealings in parks and I would anticipate he will actively assist with the Township’s parks as well as our upcoming trail study,” said Township Manager Kurt Ferguson.
