Newtown Township Police Seeking To Identify Suspected Vandals

Police are looking for the individuals responsible for a summer vandalism spree in the township.

NEWTOWN TOWNSHIP, PA — The Newtown Township Police Department is continuing to investigate multiple cases of vandalism that occurred in June and July 2023 at Council Rock High School North, A Child's World, Meglio Pizza, and Goodnoe Elementary School.

In each case, police said fireworks were set off inside trash cans and dumpsters causing small fires and requiring a response by the Newtown Fire and Rescue.

Police said a surveillance video from one of the incidents on June 29 shows six subjects, all male juveniles, involved in the vandalism spree.
