Newtown Township Selects New Manager

Micah Lewis, who has been serving as interim manager since July, has been appointed as the township's permanent manager.

NEWTOWN TOWNSHIP, PA — Newtown Township has chosen a permanent township manager. Micah Lewis, who has been serving as interim manager since the departure of Kurt Ferguson in July, has been appointed as the township's permanent manager.

Prior to serving as interim manager, Lewis served as assistant township manager under Ferguson. Ferguson left Newtown after accepting a manager position in Lower Makefield Township.

The appointment, which passed unanimously during Wednesday's Board of Supervisors meeting, is contingent on the board and Lewis coming to an agreement on an employment contract.
