Newtown Twp Holding Free Electronic Waste Recycling Event

​Newtown Township and Lower Makefield Township will host a joint electronic waste recycling event on Saturday, Oct. 8.

Newtown Township and Lower Makefield Township will host a joint electronic waste recycling event on Saturday, Oct. 8.

The recycling event will be held from 9 a.m. to noon at 790 Township Line Road, Yardley.

You can drop off electronics for free recycling. The only charge is for televisions and computer montiros. For those items, there will be a $25 charge (cash only).

Common items to be collected include: PC systems, stereos, cellphones, laptops, printers, fax machines, copiers and cameras.

Items not accepted include: batteries, lightbulbs, air conditions, smoke detectors, refrigerators, dehumidifiers and appliances.
