NEWTOWN TOWNSHIP, PA — The Newtown Township Environmental Advisory Council is looking for members who share an interest in environmental issues and ways to improve the quality of life in the township.

Examples include increasing places for pollinator gardens, looking into uses of solar power for the township, and other initiatives having to do with the environment.

The township's EAC recently took on a lead role in planning and carrying out the creation of a pollinator garden at Roberts Ridge Park. The EAC also helped draft the township's single-use plastics ordinance.
