Newtown Wendy's To Undergo 'Major' Renovation
A restaurant representative says the Wendy's dining room will close during the renovation but the drive through will remain open.
Wendy’s in Newtown is getting a new look.
The restaurant’s dining room will close starting Monday, Oct. 26 for a four-week renovation project, Wendy’s representatives tell Patch.
The “major renovation project” will include upgrades such as televisions, an electric fireplace, lounge seating and a “totally new look and flow,” said owner Anthony Romeo.

Drive-through service will remain open during the renovation.
“While it’s possible there will be a day or two we will be forced to close completely for construction, we have have partnered with the health department to ensure service can be maintained at the drive through window during the dining room work,” Romeo said.

The grand reopening of the dining room is currently projected for Monday, Nov. 23.
