Newtown's Annual 'Amazing Race' Set For April 28

Registration is now open for The Newtown Library Company's annual Amazing Race competition on Saturday, April 28.
In the Newtown Edition of the Amazing Race, teams of family and friends embark on an adventure through the Newtown Borough in a race to find clues at a variety of locations. Participants will use their cellphone cameras as they race through the course.
Teams of two will compete to win first place, which includes a trophy, a $200 prize and bragging rights.

Discounts are available for early registration for teams that register on or before April 20, with early entry fees of $15 for ages 14 and under, $20 for library members over 14, and $25 for non-members over 14.
Registration fees go up by $5 per person after April 20.

On the morning of the event, participants will sign in at 9:15 a.m. sharp. That's when team shirts and rules will be handed out to participants. The first clue will be handed out at 10 a.m.
Space is limited. Register in-person at the Newtown Library Company (114 East Centre Avenue) or go to newtownlibrarycompany.org.
