Nina's Waffles Opening Newtown Store This Week

NEWTOWN, PA — It's official: Nina's Waffles will open its Newtown location on Wednesday, April 3 at 11 a.m., shop owner Louis Zanias tells Patch.

The waffle and ice cream shop will be located in the Village at Newtown Shopping Center, in the historic Toll House adjacent to the Wells Fargo Bank.

Zanias confirmed the shop has secured the necessary permits and will open that day.

Nina's Waffles has two locations in New Hope, a store in Peddler's Village, and another one in Doylestown. Nina's also operates a food truck for special occasions.

According to information provided by the business on its website, Nina’s pasteurizes its own gourmet ice cream base at a dairy plant in Bucks County.

"Our hand cooked Liege style waffles are made from our own in- house recipe," the website explains. "Many Belgians have visited our stores and swear our product is better than many served in their homeland."
