Noah's Playground To Open Nov. 14 In Newtown
The playground honors Noah Cohen, an infant who passed away from Sudden Infant Death Syndrome in 2010.

A new playground will open in Newtown on Saturday, Nov. 14 with a ribbon cutting celebration.
Noah’s Playground is located in Veteran’s Park, off Route 413 in Newtown Township. The playground honors Noah Cohen, an infant who passed away from Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS) in 2010.
Parents Natalie and Jason Cohen have raised more than $55,000 to bring the playground to fruition. Funds from Newtown’s Open Space bond allocation were also used to create the playground.

Special features of the playground include an inclusive design and a rubberized surface, according to Newtown Township Parks and Recreation.
During the ribbon cutting reception for the playground, there will be several activities for children including a magic show, face painting and balloon artists.

The event goes from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The magic show begins at 11:45 a.m. Veteran’s Park is located at 234 Durham Road.
