NOVA Thrift celebrates National Thrift Shop Day August 17 with special sale - up to half off

To celebrate National Thrift Shop Day, NOVA Thrift Shop is holding an unprecedented “More You Buy, More You Save” sale that gives shoppers up to 50 percent off their purchases on Monday, August 17.

“And to raise funds for Network of Victim Assistance’s anti-bullying programs and activities, we have a fun ‘guess the number’ game to win $25 in NOVA Thrifty Bucks to spend anywhere in the store,” says Todd Bozes, shop manager.

The sale offers 10 percent off purchases of $10 or more, 20 percent off $20 or more, 30 percent off $30 or more, 40 percent off $40 or more and a full half off a $50 purchase. These discounts cannot be combined with the normal Monday Senior Citizen Discount.

To qualify for your chance to win $25 in NOVA Thrifty Bucks, correctly guess the number of assorted buttons in the glass apothecary jar on display at the shop. Each “guess” is $1, which supports NOVA’s anti-bullying initiatives, and you can buy as many guesses as you want up to August 17. A drawing will determine the Thrifty Bucks winner if more than one correct answer is received.
