Nutcracker Auditions

The Moscow Ballet and The Pennsylvania School of the Performing Arts are auditioning boys and girls ages 6-18 to perform in The Great Russian Nutcracker at the Tower Theater in Philadelphia on December 4, 2015. Sixty student dancers will be selected to perform side-by-side with the professional company in ancillary roles of Party Children, Mice, Snowflakes, Angels, etc. The Pennsylvania School of the Performing Arts of Newtown, PA is facilitating the audition process and training/rehearsal process.

Wednesday, August 26th
Ages 6-18 from 12:00pm-2:00pm
Ages 6-10 for little snowflakes till 1:30

Saturday, September 12th
Ages 6-18 from12:00pm-2:00pm
Ages 6-10 for little snowflakes till 1:30

What Time to Arrive:
Please arrive 1 hour early (11:00 am) to warm up and fill out the Moscow Nutcracker forms.
Boys and Girl Dancers must have at least one year of ballet training. The auditions will consist of a ballet combination in center and across the floor.

Necessary Attire:
Boys: White T-shirt, dark colored shorts OR dark sweat pants, black jazz pants or tights, white socks OR ballet/dance shoes.
Girls: Black leotard, pink tights, ballet shoes (pointe shoes if on pointe), and hair in ballet bun.

Audition Fee:
A facility fee of $10 can be paid to PSPA by credit card or collected on audition date.
