One Winter Night - Free Family Holiday Event

The thrill of the holiday season can sometimes get lost in a blur of twinkling lights, rushing to-and-fro and crowded mall parking lots. Grace Point in Newtown, PA has the perfect antidote. Its One Winter Night celebration returns on Friday, December 5 from 6:30 to 10 p.m. This special event is designed to create an old-fashioned night of family-friendly holiday fun.

And best of all, this fun-for-all-ages celebration of the season is completely free.

Visitors to Grace Point can take a break from the hustle and bustle, kick back and enjoy the music, food and fun that make holiday memories. The popular event drew more than 2,000 people in previous years.

This year’s celebration will again feature many popular attractions: festive music, tasty home-baked holiday cookies and hot cocoa, fun family activities, plus a few new twists including a Walk-Through Nativity and a family game show modeled after the popular Minute-to-Win-It.

From the seasonal sounds of the Delaware Valley Wind Symphony, The Pennsylvania Youth Chorale, The Bucks County Country Gentleman Octet, Master Storyteller Roger Petersen and a Mummers String Band; to the pure enjoyment of toasting s’mores around a roaring bonfire on a crisp winter evening, One Winter Night offers something for everyone. There will be a brass ensemble playing Christmas standards, wagon-rides led by beautiful Belgian horses, crafts and entertainment for the kids, a petting zoo and more.

One Winter Night starts at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, December 5 and runs until 10 p.m. at Grace Point, located at the intersection of Stoopville and Washington Crossing roads in Newtown. There is no charge for admission or any of the activities.
