PA Now Has More Than 3K Coronavirus Cases
Nearly 650 additional cases of coronavirus were reported in the past 24 hours in Pennsylvania, officials said Sunday.
HARRISBURG, PA — Nearly 650 additional cases of coronavirus were reported in the past 24 hours in Pennsylvania, officials said Sunday. As of noon on Sunday, there are now 3,394 COVID-19 cases in the state, an increase of 643 cases since Saturday.
Four new deaths were reported Sunday; a total of 38 Pennsylvanians have now died from the virus.
According to the Pennsylvania Department of Health, 30,061 people have tested negative as of Sunday.

Of the patients who have tested positive to date the age breakdown is as follows:
- Less than 1% are aged 0-4;
- Less than 1% are aged 5-12;
- 1% are aged 13-18;
- 10% are aged 19-24;
- 41% are aged 25-49;
- Nearly 27% are aged 50-64; and
- 19% are aged 65 or older.
Most of the patients hospitalized are aged 65 or older, health officials said, noting most of the deaths have occurred in patients 65 or older.

There have been no pediatric deaths to date.
