NEWTOWN, PA — Beginning this week and continuing through late July, motorists who use the Newtown Bypass and the Newtown-Langhorne Road can expect nighttime delays as part of a $9.4 million project to repair and resurface 25 miles of state highway in Bucks County.

  • Weekday lane closure is scheduled in both directions on Route 332 (Newtown Bypass) between northbound Route 532/Route 413 (Newtown Bypass) and Newtown Gate Drive/Summit Trace Road in Newtown Township for milling and paving.
  • Weekday lane closure is scheduled on Route 413 (Langhorne Newtown Road/Pine Street) between Route 332 (Newtown Bypass) and 300 feet north of Gilliam Avenue in Langhorne Borough and Middletown Township for milling and paving.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because backups and delays will occur. The schedule is weather dependent.
