Pennsylvania Weather: More Snow Possible This Weekend, Hazardous Weather Outlook Issued

The region woke up to the year's first snow, and more might be on the way this weekend.

The National Weather Service has issued a Hazardous Weather Outlook in Southeastern Pennsylvania for Saturday, saying more snow is possible.

A storm currently offshore could track close enough to drop accumulating snow along the I-95 corridor, the NWS said. "While accumulations appear to be light, there is uncertainty regarding just how far inland the snow gets as there should be a share western edge," the Hazardous Weather Outlook said.

Meanwhile, snow overnight dropped as much as 3 inches on some parts of the Philadelphia region. Parts of Bucks, Montgomery and Chester counties got 3 inches of snow. Delaware County communities reported between 1 and 2 inches.

The Lehigh Valley got a dusting of about an inch.
