People4Trump Event At NAC To Feature GOP Candidate For Governor

NEWTOWN, PA — A People4Trump event featuring Scott Wagner, a Republican candidate for Pennsylvania governor, is planned Wednesday at the Newtown Athletic Club. The event will be held starting at 7 p.m. at the NAC Sports Training Center.

According to an event announcement, Wagner will speak about his plans to "fix Pennsylvania." Those interested in attending can click here to RSVP.

NAC spokeswoman Linda Mitchell estimates about 200 people will be at the Sports Training Center for the event and members should not be affected.

Wagner is State Senator for the 28th District, serving as chairman of the Senate Local Government Committee and Vice Chairman of the Senate Labor and Industry Committee. He also sits on the Senate Appropriations Committee and serves on the Transportation and Intergovernmental Operations committees

People4Trump is a pro-Donald Trump organization founded by Newtown Athletic Club owner Jim Worthington. In March, the group held a rally at Neshaminy State Park.

The next gubernatorial election in Pennsylvania will take place on November 6, 2018. Gov. Tom Wolf has announced he will seek reelection.
