Period Productions Releases its Theme and Show Schedule for Sept 19 & 20 Renaissance Faire in bucks
The biggest, boldest and longest ensemble announces its
HEAR YE, HERE YE, the Village Renaissance Faire returns its merriment and mystique to the Middletown Grange Fairgrounds this Sept 19 & 20, for its glorious 16th year lead once again by Period Productions, who sets the faire’s theme for the other many acts, lieka erialists, firebreathers, birds of prey and more.
The next chapter in the Living Literature series is an Arthurian Tale: When Worlds Collide
As a festival is planned by Sir Erec, the young Sir Yvain comes with news of a delegation approaching the Faire. It would seem that the Saxon leaders would discuss terms of a surrender with King Arthur. Sir Yvain’s lady, Laudine, begs him to remain and defend the honor of the King, though he wishes to go off to fight. The Lady Enide wants Sir Erec to return to the battle field where she knows he is needed, but neither listens.

The Saxons make it clear that they do not wish to talk and things are only heated further by the return of Sir Mordred and Sir Agravain from their exile. Guinevere however implores the Saxon king to relent and stay for the day.
It would seem all is typical until the Saxons show their true hand capturing the ladies and several knights of the court forcing Arthur to flee. The Saxons are quick to celebrate their victory with games of sport played out by their prisoners.... Will King Arthur return to save his court and reclaim the kingdom in time? Will the Saxons prevail?
