Petrucci, Schenkman to Face Off in Fall Election for District Judge
Mick Petrucci won the Republican primary for Newtown district judge; Jerry Schenkman won on the Democratic side.

An attorney and former Newtown Township supervisor will face off against a state constable in the November election for district judge.
According to unofficial primary results, State Constable Mick Petrucci won the Republican primary for Newtown district judge. Jerry Schenkman prevailed on the Democratic side.
With all districts reporting, Schenkman earned 44 percent of the vote, with 586 votes. He faced three opponents in the primary. On the Republican side, Petrucci earned 1,352 votes and also had three opponents.

The two are vying for the seat vacated after former district judge Donald Nasshorn passed away in December.
