Police say the man walked into the Target store and switched a UPC barcode.

WARRINGTON TOWNSHIP, PA — A Philadelphia man faces retail theft charges following an incident at the Target store in Warrington Township.

On April 19 at 10:45 a.m., police were on patrol on Easton Road when an officer noticed a suspicious vehicle at several locations. The vehicle parked at the rear of the Target store and the two male occupants went inside the store. A short time later, the occupants exited the store and began to drive away.

The officer learned from the store's loss prevention that one of the men made a purchase after he had placed a “Cat & Jack” UPC bar code valued at $6 on four packs of shirts valued at $70.30.
