Pineville Tavern Extending 1989 Prices On Lunch Through February

The deal was supposed to end tomorrow but good news: you'll have another month to dine out at 1989 prices.

Due to an "unprecedented response," the Pineville Tavern is extending its special celebratory lunch prices through February, the popular Bucks County restaurant announced Monday.

Since Jan. 11 — the date that marks the anniversary of the Abruzzese family taking over the tavern — a handful of lunch menu items have been made available at 1989 prices. Now those prices will extend through the end of February.

On Jan. 11, 1989, the Abruzzese family purchased the 18th century hotel and inn from the Turner brothers. For two years in a row, the tavern has celebrated by turning back the clock and giving customers the chance to enjoy lunch at a bargain price.

In February, customers can enjoy the following specials during lunch only:

  • Snapper Soup for $1.75
  • Half Pound Cheeseburgers for $4.75
  • Homemade Ravioli for $3.75
  • Italian Roast Pork Sandwich for $4.25
  • Fried Chicken for $4.75.

“The anniversary price rollback was such a huge success and everyone loved it so much that we decided to extend it through February with a few changes to offer a couple of different beloved menu items,” said Drew Abruzzese. “We’ve swapped out the Prime Rib French Dip for our ridiculously delicious Italian Roast Pork Sandwich, and added our popular Fried Chicken.”
