Pineville Tavern Hires New Executive Chef

Chef Anthony Pasceri, 38, has joined the popular Wrightstown Township dining spot, located just off Route 413.

The Pineville Tavern has hired a new executive chef.

Chef Anthony Pasceri, 38, has joined the popular Wrightstown Township dining spot, located just off Route 413.

Pasceri is an Ambler native who attended Wissahickon High School. He’s been on the Philadelphia restaurant scene for more than a decade, the Pineville Tavern says in an announcement.

Most recently, Pasceri worked at Forcella’s in Jenkintown. Prior to that, he worked at Modo Mio, Poplino and Paesanos in Philadelphia from 2012 to 2014. Between 2010 and 2012 Pasceri took time out to travel and train extensively in Italy, spending most of his time in Spoleto in the Umbria region where he “fine-tuned his pasta making skills,” the announcement said.

“I am thrilled to be heading up the culinary efforts at such a landmark establishment like the Pineville Tavern that is steeped in history and great food,” said Pasceri. “I look forward to continuing the Abruzzeses’ tradition of providing home style comfort fare with a modern twist.”

Pasceri attended the Culinary Institute of America in 1996. He has two daughters and his expecting a baby boy in April.
