Pipe Replacement Project To Impact Traffic In Newtown, Northampton
Construction work is scheduled to begin this week along Route 332 (Richboro Road) in Newtown and Northampton townships.

NEWTOWN, PA — A pipe replacement project is scheduled to begin this week on Route 332 (Richboro Road) in Newtown and Northampton townships under a $14.9 million project to upgrade stormwater management facilities on more than 90 state highways across the five-county Philadelphia region.
Motorists are advised of the following travel restrictions:
- Monday, December 16, through Friday, December 20 a lane closure is scheduled from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Route 332 (Richboro Road) between W. Hanover Street and Rock Way.
- Tuesday, January 2, 2025, through Friday, January 17, 2025, a weekday lane closure is scheduled on Route 332 (Richboro Road) between W. Hanover Street and Rock Way.
Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work area because backups and delays will occur. The schedule is weather-dependent.

Highway Materials, Inc. of Flourtown, Montgomery County, is the general contractor on this project, which is financed with 100 percent state funds.
