Planet Fitness Expanding In Bucks County

BUCKS COUNTY, PA — Planet Fitness is expanding locally, with its sixth Bucks County location now planned in Doylestown.

The fitness center will be opening in the Doylestown Shopping Center, according to Sean Sablosky of Arrow Real Estate Services.

The fitness center will be going into the spot formerly occupied by Annie Sez and will be opening in 2019. Sablosky said he's hoping for a mid-year opening but the exact timing depends on the speed of renovations at the space, which is about 16,500 square feet.

Planet Fitness currently operates five Bucks County locations, including in Levittown, Warminster, Morrisville, Bensalem, and Trevose.

The facility says it strives to create a "judgement-free" workout environment "where everyone feels accepted and respected."

Membership rates start at $10. For an additional cost, members can get access to all Planet Fitness locations.
