Police Want To Know Who Set Fire At Newtown Crossing Community Pool
Police are looking for the person or persons who set a homemade raft on fire at the Newtown Crossing Community Pool.
NEWTOWN TOWNSHIP, Pa. — Newtown Township Police are looking for the person or persons responsible for setting a homemade raft on fire at the Newtown Crossing Community Association Pool on June 18.
At at approximately 2:39 a.m. police responded to the pool where they found a homemade raft on fire and floating in the pool. Prior to police arrival, several individuals were seen on surveillance video fleeing the scene.
As a result of the fire, the pool was forced to close for more than a week while the damage was repaired. The cleanup and repairs are expected to cost the NCCA several thousand dollars, police said.
