Police Praise Sol Feinstone Staff for Response to Minor Bus Accident

The minor accident happened Monday in front of the school. There were no injuries.

Upper Makefield police have commended Sol Feinstone Elementary School staff for their “fantastic response” after a minor school bus accident happened Monday in front of the school.

Upper Makefield Police said the accident, involving First Student school bus number 99, caused no injuries to any of the children and no damage to the school bus. The incident happened after a stopped car rolled slowly into the back of the bus.

The accident occurred on Eagle Road directly in front of the school, according to police.

“We would like to thank Principal Harlan and his staff for their immediate and fantastic response to the accident. They did a great job in assisting us and taking care of your children,” police said in a Facebook post.
