A storm headed to the region during the late weekend could bring heavy rain and some wind, forecasters say.
According to forecasters, the Philadelphia area could get between two and six inches of rain in 12 to 24 hours on Sunday. Much of that rain could even fall in six to 12 hours, according to AccuWeather. Locally higher amounts are possible.
Not only will the heavy rain ruin outdoor plans, but it could also cause problems for travel on Sunday. Prepare for airline delays at major hubs from Washington, D.C., to Baltimore, Philadelphia, New York City and Boston, AccuWeather warns.

"Street flooding is likely, especially where leaves have fallen," according to AccuWeather Chief Meteorologist Elliot Abrams. "The leaves can block storm drains."
The good news is the heavy rain is expected to clear out by Tuesday, just in time for trick-or-treating.

If you've got outdoor activities planned this weekend, try to do them on Saturday. Sunday looking pretty much a wash-out. pic.twitter.com/rKIWKx95Kg
