Prowler Alert In Upper Makefield
Police in Upper Makefield are warning residents to be on the lookout for a nighttime prowler.

Police in Upper Makefield are warning residents to be on the lookout for a prowler. An investigation is ongoing with authorities in Lower Makefield, where the suspect's footprints have possibly connected him to a break-in there.
The incident in Upper Makefield was reported on May 11 at 1 a.m. A resident of Walker Road, which is just off Mt Eyre Road, reported the prowler. Police said he fled after the homeowner activated his alarm remotely.

The suspect is described as a tan or light-skinned African American with a muscular build. He is believed to be between 5’7” and 5’9” tall and was wearing blue gloves and Adidas Samba shoes.
Police believe the incident may be connected to one that occurred last month in Lower Makefield.

On April 18, police in Lower Makefield received a report that a man in dark clothing and a hoodie entered a home on Barn Drive. A footprint was left behind and a photo of that footprint was taken. Police believe it is a heal of the Samba shoe, which was worn by the alleged Upper Makefield prowler.

The two police departments are working together on the investigation.
