Pulp Fiction Coming To The Big Screen In Newtown

25 years after its original release, Quentin Tarantino's masterpiece will be shown on the big screen in Newtown.

NEWTOWN, PA — The Newtown Theatre will screen the classic "Pulp Fiction" during a special event on March 1.

The film will screen 25 years after its original release. The movie starts at 7:30 p.m. Admission is $10 for the general public, and $5 for theatre members. Concessions, including beer and wine, will be available for purchase before the film.

"Pulp Fiction," widely regarded as Quentin Tarantino’s masterpiece, has been named the best film since 1983 by Entertainment Weekly. It has appeared on many critics' lists of the greatest films ever made.

The movie follows hitmen Vincent Vega (John Travolta) and Jules Winnfield (Samuel L. Jackson) who have a penchant for philosophical discussions. Their story is interwoven with those of their boss, gangster Marsellus Wallace, his actress wife, Mia (Uma Thurman), struggling boxer Butch Coolidge (Bruce Willis), master fixer Winston Wolfe, and a nervous pair of armed robbers, ‘Pumpkin’ and ‘Honey Bunny.’

The Newtown Theatre is located at 120 N. State Street in Newtown Borough.
