Last Chance To Register For Shamrock Shuffle In Newtown
The St. Patrick's-themed event brings family, friends and neighbors together for a common cause - raising funds to battle pancreatic cancer.

NEWTOWN BOROUGH, PA — The deadline to register for this year's Shamrock Shuffle is fast approaching. Online registration will end on Friday, March 14, at 12 p.m. There is no race day registration.
"We invite you to be a part of the 2025 Newtown Shamrock Shuffle 5K,” says Christine Edmonds, president of Newtown-based non-profit A Love for Life, which is a beneficiary of the run. "We welcomed 800 excited runners in 2024. This year, registration is again limited to 800 participants - and most of those bibs have been reserved. There are about 85 spots still available, so we are hoping that anyone who wants to be part of the fun will register today by clicking here."

A percentage of the registration fee benefits A Love for Life, which raises funds in support of a dedicated team of pancreatic cancer researchers at Penn. Runners and walkers are invited to share a website link with friends and family (www.aloveforlife.us) if they would like to raise additional funds from their participation. One hundred percent of the money raised by A Love for Life goes to Penn.
“We’d also like to thank our Newtown Borough Police Department, our Newtown business community and all our neighbors who line the course of the race," added Edmonds. "There are street closures and some disruption of parking and road access is inevitable, but our town is so kind and generous, and we appreciate their forbearance.”
