Newtown's 'Amazing Race' Is Saturday
Teams consisting of two members will be competing to win first place, which includes a trophy, grand prize of $200 and bragging rights.

The Newtown Library Company's annual Amazing Race competition is this Saturday, April 29. The race starts at 142 N. Lincoln Ave, Newtown.
The event features teams of family and friends who embark on an adventure through the Newtown Borough in a race to find clues at various locations. Participants use their cellphone cameras as they race through the course.

The fee is $30 per participant over 14. Event sign-in begins at 9:15 a.m. sharp, when team shirts and rules will be handed out to participants. The first clue will be handed out at 10 a.m.
Register by stopping into the Newtown Library Company (114 East Centre Avenue) or going to newtownlibrarycompany.org. Same-day registration can be done at the starting point for the race, 142 N. Lincoln Ave.
