Shamrock Shuffle To Bring Hundreds To The Streets Of Newtown
The event will send runners and walkers through the streets for a common cause - raising funds to battle pancreatic cancer.

NEWTOWN, PA — The Shamrock Shuffle 5K returns to the streets of Newtown Borough on Saturday, March 14, at 9 a.m. with plenty of spirited Irish fun.
“We can’t wait for race day,” said Christine Edmonds, president of the Newtown-based "A Love for Life," which benefits from race proceeds. The nonprofit raises funds for pancreatic cancer research at Penn Medicine's Abramson Cancer Center in Philadelphia.
"We are so thankful and excited to be the charity partner for the Newtown Shamrock Shuffle 5K again for 2026," said Edmonds. "Our decade-long connection with Always Advancing/Boss Events has helped us raise over a million dollars for our dedicated team of pancreatic cancer researchers at the Abramson Cancer Center."

In addition to receiving a percentage of the registration fee, participants have the option of raising additional funds in honor of someone they love. It’s as simple as sharing the nonprofit's website www.aloveforlife.us with family and friends who can donate any amount they wish.
"This is one of the most fun days in Newtown Borough, and there’s so much swag - a cool race shirt, custom finisher medal, and lots of perks at local establishments after the race through the end of March," said Edmonds.

And best of all, said Edmonds, everyone is Irish for the day.
