​Rita's To Celebrate Newtown LL Team With Special Fundraising Evening

NEWTOWN TOWNSHIP, PA — Rita's Italian Ice & Frozen Custard will celebrate the Council Rock Newtown 12-year-old All-Star Little League team for its World Series run by putting them to work behind the counter.

Starting at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 18 at the Rita's on Swamp Road, the members of the Council Rock Newtown team will be serving Italian Ice to customers at the Rita’s at 14 Swamp Road in Newtown.

Between 6 and 8 p.m., the Swamp Road Rita’s location will donate 50 percent of total sales throughout the event to the Council Rock Newtown Athletic Association (CRNAA).

Guests who come out to support the team are invited to enjoy photo opportunities with Rita’s mascot, Ice Guy, a face painter, appearances by the Newtown Police and Fire Departments, music and more.

In exchange for their hard work, Rita's will be presenting the team with free Italian Ice for a year.
