Rothman Institute Opening in Newtown

The Rothman Institute, which specializes in orthopaedic care, will open a Newtown location in 2013. Orthopaedics is a medical speciality that focuses on joint condition, spinal disorder or sports injury.

The office will be located at 2700 South Eagle Road, in a building that was formerly unoccupied. 

"The Rothman Institute is internationally recognized for excellence in orthopaedic science and technology. Our physicians are experts in their specialty areas, leaders in clinical research and innovators in the development of advanced treatment methods and technologies," the Rothman Institute website says.

The Rothman Institute has several locations in Pennsylvania and New Jersey, including in Bensalem, Philadelphia and West Chester.

According to its website, the Rothman Institute offers a range of services, including physical therapy, x-rays, nutrition and wellness counseling and orthotics.
