Union City Hit-And-Run: 3 NJ Police Officers Injured
Three police officers were seriously injured in a hit-and-run Wednesday night in Hudson County.

UNION CITY, NJ — Three police officers were seriously injured in a hit-and-run in Union City on Wednesday night. The officers had responded to an accident scene involving a teen who was hit by a garbage truck at Palisades Avenue and 30th Street when they were struck, according to reports.
While police were investigating that incident, which CBS New York reported was fatal, at least one motorcyclist drove through the accident scene at 9 p.m. Three officers were transported to area hospitals. NBC New York reported one officer is in critical condition and that two motorcycles were involved.
"Please pray for all the officers injured in Union City incident tonight," the New Jersey State PBA said via Twitter.

The Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office was investigating, said CBS New York.
