Saturday Forecast Looking Good For Newtown First Fourth
Saturday's forecast is calling for sunny skies during Newtown's annual summer celebration, which features evening fireworks.

Newtown’s annual summer celebration, First Fourth, is this Saturday, July 11 at Newtown Middle School. Festivities will include a variety of activities and food, followed by evening fireworks.
As of Wednesday night, the forecast looks ideal for an outdoor celebration. The forecast is calling for sunny skies, no chance of rain and highs in the upper 80s.
The First Fourth celebration will kick off at 3 p.m. Fireworks start at about 9:30 p.m. If the forecast doesn’t pan out as predicted, the rain date is Sunday, July 12.

- Boro vs. Township Softball game
- Food
- Vendors
- Colonial Re-enactment
- Bounce Area (fee)
- Fireworks
The fireworks are sponsored by Piccolo Trattoria. McCaffrey’s is sponsoring the shuttle buses from Council Rock North.
