Scudder Falls Bridge Bike And Pedestrian Path Reopens
But work on the bridge's elevated walkway is expected to resume the following week with a series of weekday closures planned.

LOWER MAKEFIELD, PA – The resurfacing of the Scudder Falls (I-295) Toll Bridge’s Shared-Use Path is nearly completed, and the facility will be open all next week, the Delaware River Joint Toll Bridge Commission announced on Friday.
But work on the bridge’s elevated walkway is expected to resume the following week when a series of weekday closures would be utilized to complete sections needing resurfacing or other corrective attention. An announcement on the specific walkway closure dates will be made sometime next week.
The walkway has been undergoing resurfacing since mid-March. Weekday closures have enabled a contractor to remove the facility’s former uneven, puddle-prone polyester polymer concrete (PPC) surface layer and then apply a more-uniform replacement layer.
