Congratulations to Sean Lawall of Newtown, who will be honored at an Eagle Scout Court of Honor on April 23.

Sean Lawall, son of Catherine and David Lawall of Newtown, is the newest Eagle Scout at Troop 29. He will be honored at an Eagle Court of Honor on April 23.

As part of the project, the group reorganized the contents of the room. They also refurbished and restrung guitars at the school. Sean donated new bass guitars and equipment for the program with he purchased with money left over from his carwash fundraiser.

Along his Trail to Eagle, Sean has served his troop in several leadership positions including Den Chief, Quartermaster, Patrol Leader, Assistant Patrol Leader, Scribe, and Senior Patrol Leader. He has camped with his troop at Philmont Scout Ranch as well as competing with his unit at the Scoutmasters’ Council Camporee at West Point where the troop most recently took first place. He was awarded Ockanickon Scout Reservation Honor Camper in 2015 and is a member of the Order of the Arrow Ajapeu Lodge #2.
