Who runs 1.6 miles, eats an ENTIRE QUART of ice cream, them takes off to run another 1.6 miles? These folks do! Yesterday I was able to attend a unique event aptly named "Jog 'n Hog" at Shady Brook Farm in Newtown-Yardley. Participants jog approximately 2 miles, stop and hog on a large quantity of food, then jog 2 miles back. Since races feature food that is unique to a particular area, and in honor of National Ice Cream Day, Shady Brooks' Uncle Dave's Ice Cream was chosen for the runners to 'pig out' on.
