See 'The Godfather' On The Big Screen This Month In Newtown
Fans of 'The Godfather' will have the chance to see the first and second parts of the classic trilogy this month at the Newtown Theatre.

NEWTOWN, PA — Fans of "The Godfather" will have the opportunity to see the classic film series on the big screen this month in Newtown. The Newtown Theatre will be screening the first and second parts of the mob drama later this month.
The first film in the series will be screened June 20 at 7:30 p.m. On June 27, the Theatre will screen part two, also at 7:30 p.m.
The film series, starring Marlon Brando, is directed by Francis Ford Coppola and is widely regarded as among the best films in American history. It follows the story of the Italian-American crime family of Don Vito Corleone, played by Brando.

The cast also includes Al Pacino, Robert Duvall and Diane Keaton.
The local screenings are part of the Theatre's "Classic Night" series. Other films in the series include "Taxi Driver" and "The Breakfast Club."

Concessions, including beer, and wine, will be available for purchase before the film. Alcohol sales will end as soon as the film starts.
Tickets will be sold at the box office one hour before showtime. The cost is $10 for adults; $8 for seniors and students; $7 for children 12 and younger; and $5 for theatre members.
