Selinsgrove Applebee’s Team Hosts Red Shirt Fridays

Last spring military veteran and Applebee’s employee Jennifer
Skelly encouraged her team to adopt Red Shirt Fridays, a campaign to “Remember
Everyone Deployed.” Through the simple act of wearing red the
Selinsgrove Applebee’s team hopes to raise awareness and support for our troops
on active duty. This event reminds the community that despite our distance from
combat zones there are still people actively serving on our behalf. As an
incentive for others to join this worthy cause guests who also wear red on
Fridays receive a coupon to use during their next meal. Thank you to the
Selinsgrove team in raising awareness for this cause!
