SEPTA Announces Lottery For Papal Passes
SEPTA announced the lottery more than a week after the failure of a website created to sell the passes.
SEPTA has announced a lottery for Regional Rail passes during the pope’s visit to Philadelphia in September.
Tuesday’s announcement comes more than a week after the failure of a websitecreated to sell the passes, needed for all Regional Rail travel on Sept. 26 and 27.
Registration for the 24-hour online lottery will begin at 12:01 a.m. on Monday, August 3rd, SEPTA said.

Starting Aug. 3, there will be a link on the SEPTA website taking visitors to the lottery form, 6ABC reported.
