September Heat Wave On The Way This Week

It might be September, but highs in the 90s are coming to Pennsylvania this week, forecasters say.

You might have turned the page on summer, but the season isn't officially over, and some high temperatures on the way later this week will be a reminder of that.

"July-like heat" is expected across the Philadelphia region midweek, AccuWeather predicts. Highs in the 90s, with a heat index into the triple digits, are anticipated on Thursday.

The heat and humidity will linger through Saturday. Then, on Sunday, temperatures are expected to dip into the low 80s.
