Some Snow Possible But Don't Count On A White Christmas In PA

There is a chance of snow in the forecast, but don't count on a white Christmas or anything fun like that.

According to the National Weather Service, there is a slight chance of snow showers in the Philadelphia region on Sunday night. The NWS predicts there's a 30 percent chance of snow.

If it materializes, it probably won't even accumulate. Less than a tenth of an inch is predicted.

Any snow that may linger would quickly melt Monday, when a high temperature of 44 is predicted.

Meanwhile, the region will continued to be plagued by rainstorms throughout the day Friday, complicating travel as people head to their holiday destinations.

A flood watch is in place all day and expires at 1 a.m. on Saturday morning.

Saturday: Partly sunny, with a high near 48. West wind 14 to 18 mph, with gusts as high as 31 mph.

Saturday Night:Partly cloudy, with a low around 31. West wind 7 to 13 mph.

Sunday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 44. West wind 5 to 7 mph.

Sunday Night: A chance of rain and snow showers before 1am, then a chance of snow showers. Partly cloudy, with a low around 33. Chance of precipitation is 30%. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.
