Special Events Planned For Saturday's Wrightstown Farmers Market
Children's author and illustrator Jennifer Hansen Rolli will be reading and signing books Saturday at the Wrightstown Farmers Market.

Some special events are on tap for Saturday at the Wrightstown Farmers Market.
Children's author and illustrator Jennifer Hansen Rolli will be doing a presentation and story time at 10:30 and 11:30 a.m. a.m. She will read to the children, talk to them about her work, and sign books, according to market organizers.
Jennifer, a Bucks County native, is described as "an amazing fine artist whose impressionist oil paintings are represented by the Silverman Gallery and Beacon Shortwave Gallery."

After becoming a mother, she starting writing and illustrating stories of her own. "Just One More," a Dolly Parton's Imagination Library title was published in 2014. Her second book, "Claudia & Moth," was published last year. This spring, she illustrated "How to Trick the Tooth Fairy."
Books will be available for purchase during the event, courtesy of the Newtown Bookshop.

Also on Saturday, there will be a demo on eggs. Shari Rossmann, President of Bucks County Foodshed Alliance will present "Egg-ceptional Food!" at 10 and 11 a.m.
The presentations will focus on the benefits and nutritional differences of eggs, pasture-raised eggs in particular. Rossmann will prepare a Bistro Salad with egg, quinoa, and greens for us to sample, paired with hot sauces from Offbeat Gourmet.
The Wrightstown Farmers Market is located at the Wrightstown township municipal building parking lot, 2203 Second Street Pike. It is held Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. through November.
