Special Meeting on Potential Council Rock School Closures is Thursday
The meeting is one of several scheduled to gain public input on the development of a new capital plan for the Council Rock School District.
A special meeting to discuss a capital plan for the Council Rock School District, including possible school closures, will be held Thursday at Council Rock South High School.
The meeting, which starts at 7:30 p.m., is one of several scheduled to gain public input on the development of the new capital plan. Council Rock South is located at 2002 Rock Way, Holland.
That plan, which has been discussed at the last several board meetings, may include closing schools or redistricting.

If you can’t make it this week, another special meeting has been scheduled for Oct. 23 at Newtown Middle School. The board will have a regular meeting on Oct. 16, and the capital plan is likely to be addressed then.
The board is slated to vote on elements in the plan during a meeting Nov. 6 at 7:30 p.m. at the Chancellor Center.
