St. Mary Thrift Shop Re-opens with Blessing, Ribbon-Cutting, and Celebration

Opening the St. Mary Thrift Shop, from left to right, are: State Representative Frank Farry; Helene Hopenwasser, Community League Cabinet (CLC); Lil Schonewolf, director of Volunteer Services, St. Mary Medical Center; Terri Rivera, vice president, St. Mary Mission and Community Health; Heidi Cekoric, shop manager; Maria Scenna, vice president, St. Mary Service Lines and Support Services; Eileen Moser, Community League chairperson; Mark Erhard, interim vice president, director, Major and Planned Gifts, St. Mary Foundation; Suzanne Berman, Chris Fluehr, Helene Stangel, and Cindy Mazda, Community League Cabinet members; and Father Raju.

Proceeds from the St. Mary Thrift Shop are used to maintain the Healing Gardens on the St. Mary Campus. The Community League totally funded the recent renovation that included new flooring, lighting, paint, fixtures, signage, phones and cable lines, and more. The store is open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. Donations of clean, gently used clothing, furniture, and accessories are gratefully accepted.
