State Police Issue Traffic Advisory For Upper Makefield

Pennsylvania State Troopers will be posted throughout the area to assist with traffic control and congestion.​

UPPER MAKEFIELD TOWNSHIP, PA — The Dublin Barracks of the Pennsylvania State Police has issued a traffic advisory for congestion on Saturday, Dec. 14 during a Wreaths Across America event at the Washington Crossing National Cemetery at 830 Highland Road.

The cemetery is expecting to place 19,000 wreaths at the gravesites of U.S. Veterans during the event, bringing a large number of visitors and volunteers to the site who assist with the ceremony and services.

State Police advise that traffic in and around Washington National Cemetery will be congested between 6 a.m. and 1 p.m.. due to the volume of participants and visitors coming to the event which will also cause traffic congestion on roads throughout Upper Makefield.
