Steeple View Public Hearing Scheduled In Newtown Borough

Should a senior assisted living facility be part of the Steeple View development on South State?

A public hearing to consider just that has been scheduled.

The hearing will be held on Thursday, April 27 at 7 p.m. at the Chancellor Center, 30 N. Chancellor St, Newtown.

Steeple View is the mixed use property currently under construction near the Newtown Hardware House. It has been approved for retail, residential and office uses.

The 90-bed assisted living facility would replace the already approved condominium buildings on the southern edge of the property, officials have said.
