Stormy, Rainy Thursday In Eastern Pennsylvania: Forecasters

Heavy rain and storms are possible throughout Eastern Pennsylvania Thursday, and could come with some flooding, the National Weather Service said. A Hazardous Weather Outlook has been issued across Eastern Pennsylvania and New Jersey.

The stormy weather could linger through Saturday morning.

The National Weather Service predicts scattered showers and thunderstorms throughout Thursday. Some of those storms could produce heavy rainfall. Temperatures will be in the upper 70s.

Friday brings another chance of showers and thunderstorms. It will be cloudy, then gradually becoming mostly sunny, with a high near 85. The chance of precipitation is 50 percent on Friday.

There is still a slight chance — 20 percent — of showers and thunderstorms on Friday night. That slight chance continues through Saturday morning. It should clear by the afternoon Saturday, the National Weather Service predicts.
