Sunshine Foundation Spreads Sunshine With Its 14th Annual RunWalkBark4Dreams on June 18th

Nonprofit that fulfills dreams for underprivileged sick children is hosting a family-friendly fundraising event in Bucks County Pennsylvania

Feasterville, PA - -- Calling Bucks County and beyond: Looking for a direct, immediate and fun-for-the-whole-family way to make a difference? Sunshine Foundation's 14th Annual RunWalkBark4Dreams on June 18 at Tyler State Park is a good move.

The family- and dog-friendly 5k-and-two-mile walk/run benefits Sunshine Foundation, a Pennsylvania-based nonprofit with 13 chapters nationwide, that makes dreams come true for underserved and underprivileged chronically ill, seriously ill, physically challenged and abused children ages, three to 18 across the US.

The feel-good event, which starts at Tyler Art Center's #1 Lane Trail and proceeds through the picturesque park, is wheelchair-accessible and people of all ages are encouraged to support this worthy charity that uses more than 80 cents of every dollar to fulfill its long list of little dreamers.

"So many families remind me of how important it is to live in the moment. The daily challenges the families face come from moment to moment so many parents tell me they are grateful and appreciate whatever is positive and gives their child and family joy in this particular moment because this moment may not last for long before there is another unexpected hurdle to overcome. So their spirited outlook makes me always reflect on living with gratitude in each and every moment," says Sunshine Foundation President, Kate Sample.

Since 1976, Sunshine Foundation has made more than 39,000 dreams come true.

In-person registration starts at 8 am and the walk starts at 9 am. You can pre-register online. The run is certified and timed. The walk is not timed but there will be a digital clock at the finish line. Tyler State Park's #1 Lane Trail is located at the Tyler Art Center along Newtown-Richboro Road, next to the Northampton Civic Center.

You can join remotely as well. With over 400 children with special needs on Sunshine Foundation's waiting list, you can register online. Simply indicate "Individual Registration - Remote Registration" and walk to sponsor children in your state. Your support will help spread sunshine throughout the country.
